Participatory Peril

Montana Constitution, Article II

Section 8. Right of participation. The public has the right to expect governmental agencies to afford such reasonable opportunity for citizen participation in the operation of the agencies prior to the final decision as may be provided by law.

Senate Bill 417 strips this right guaranteed to you by your constitution. If you have not done so already, please contact the members of the House Federal Relations, Energy and Telecommunications Committee and let them know that it would just be plain wrong to pass the terrible bill.
